Free Sample Lessons
The Free Sample Piano/Keyboard Lessons are the actual first week of lessons both in the worksheet and "sprinkling" formats. They include the instruction pages as well. These Level One Lessons are suitable for children ages 3 through 6. Teachers and parents are instructed to feel free to skip redundant pages for those children with greater number and color recognition as well as greater ability to remember new symbols. Since learning to play the piano is many times a child's first real conscious learning experience, the redundancy is sometimes comforting even for those who really don't need it. Everyone likes to stay in the "comfort zone" sometimes! Enjoy this new learning experience with your child or class.
The Free Sacred Arrangements are for students who are reading notation and are written in 2 part and 4 part harmony.
The Free Note Reading Activities are for students learning to read notation in treble and bass clefs.
The Free Violin "Silent Night" is in first position and is written in several teaching formats.

The Magnificat is Luke I: 46-55, King James edition, set to liturgical music in order to aid in memorizing the Biblical passage. There are two arrangements included: one in four part harmony and one in two part harmony.

These note reading activities are appropriate for students who are beginning to read notation. They tie the written notes to specific keys on the piano or keyboard. They give the student the opportunity to color, cut and paste, as well as make their own worksheets.

Silent Night in a violin arrangement: a gift for Travis and his friends. This familiar carol is written in several formats for use with beginning violin students. Every beginning violin student is a friend of Travis so feel free to use this arrangement with anyone.
